Lisa and Seans wedding day was FINALLY here! It really felt like forever because I was almost as excited as they were! It’s a real treat to be apart of a couples entire journey. I usually come in at engagements and sometimes not even till the wedding day but with Lisa and Sean I entered their story before there was even a ring! This made the entire experience so special for me! Lisa and I really became friends and I got to know Sean more than I sometimes do with other Grooms. It was an absolute honor and somewhat emotional for me when I opened their wedding invitation (not the one they gave me to take pictures of, but the one they gave just to me, so that in and of itself made me feel special) and they had invited me to attend their sealing. This was a new experience and only helped round out the love story I got to witness of these two!

Here is some sweet memories I had from their wedding day and quotes from the beautiful couple.
How would you describe the couple?
Lisa and Sean are the most perfect and beautiful match. Lisa is the planner and more into the details while Sean is more spontaneous and looks at the big picture. They balance each other out perfectly and the most important part is Sean adores Lisa. Lisa can’t help but adore and love Sean back because of how honorable and easy he is to love. Lisa has one of the biggest hearts I have ever met and she wasn’t going to just give it to anyone to love, so when Sean came into her life and slowly proved himself to be more than trustworthy she couldn’t help but give him her heart and never look back. Sean is a little bit quieter than Lisa and it was truly wonderful to see the love he has for Lisa shine through his eyes and the way he was around Lisa.
All about the venue(s)
Oquirrh Mountain Temple is one of my favorite temples. Not just because they have one of THE most gorgeous chandeliers inside but because the outside is so epic. I love the square archways, the beautiful grand staircase and the grounds are always filled with blooms and provide plenty of different backdrops for photos. I had been to Bella Vista Reception Center but never photographed a wedding there. When I walked in I was awestruck, the draping they had with twinkly lights was absolutely stunning and as I walked around capturing the details I was impressed by all of the natural light spilling in from the 3 walls of huge windows. I spoke with the staff after the wedding and they were so charming and kind. I was very impressed!
How would you describe the feeling of the wedding day?
It’s hard not to describe Lisa and Sean’s wedding day as pure happiness. There were so many people there to celebrate and support Lisa and Sean and not a single one was bored, sad or anything but happy, even despite the very warm temperature. The little kids were just as excited as the adults. Attending the sealing added a whole new layer to my experience of their wedding day that I don’t normally get to enjoy and sitting in the sealing room I was overcome with the feeling of how much love these two had backing them as they committed to each other for time and all eternity. We had fun during family and group photos and that theme just continued as we took wedding party photos. Then we were off to the reception venue.
There was traffic from the temple to the venue but Lisa and Sean handled it with grace and ease, matching the peaceful joy that filled their wedding day. These two were just so happy to finally be husband and wife. Everyone helping set up at. the venue was working fast but smiling while they worked. Lisa, being such a detail-oriented person, had everything thought through. She had some beautiful gold shoes as something old, a beautiful barrette as something borrowed, her veil and dress as something new and this gorgeous blue stoned ring from her grandmother as something blue. Even the forks they used to eat their donut cake said Mrs. and Mr. along with the cake scooper saying “I’m only here for the dessert”. Lisa knew how much Sean loves superman so she gave him a special gift at their bridals. He matched those superman cuff links with the perfect superman socks and Lisa added to these special trinkets with gorgeous Wonder Woman bracelets. They enjoyed a beautiful and meaningful ring ceremony at the venue for friends and family and my favorite part was when they kissed and the cutest little flower girl covered her eyes. The night was filled with so many well wishes, happy hugs, and joyful laughter.
From the Bride & Groom: What are you both most excited about your future together?
Lisa: I can’t wait to not have to go home or say goodbye at night. I’m excited about the little monotonous chores of life like laundry, dinner, and cleaning that I will be able to do for my hubby and in our house together. I’m excited to start a family together. I have dreamt of being a mom since a little girl and I can’t imagine anyone else that would be a better daddy than Sean. Plus, I mean our kids are gonna be the most darling little pale kids with blond hair (buying stock in sunscreen now). I will take as many as Heavenly Father wants to bless me with. My ideal would be 4, 2 girls and 2 boys. I would love to travel together. My dream vacation would be to stay in a hut on the water in Tahiti. I would love to go to the Caribbean, Fiji, New Zealand (to see his mission and the beauty I’ve only seen in pictures) and Europe. In the states, I would love to take him to Nashville to my mission and then Hawaii and Alaska.
Sean: I’m most excited about having a home together and raising children. I would be satisfied with 2-4 children. I really want to go on a vacation to a warm, tropical place with lots of fun activities like swimming, snorkeling, boating, hiking etc. etc. I think places like Fiji, Hawaii, Tahiti, Bora Bora etc., would be lots of fun. I would also want to go back to New Zealand at some point!
