Lindsay is one of those people who is stunningly gorgeous on the outside and 150% authentically pure on the inside! I was so happy when they booked me to photograph their wedding day! I can’t get over their proposal story. Quoting Lindsay, “A surprise proposal in Florence Italy, I have no words, just the best day of my LIFE!” Lindsay was in Italy with her sister and had no idea Nate was going to be flying in and meeting them in a giant rose garden but at one point she turned around and there was Nate down on one knee with a ring. They then got to enjoy the rest of her Europe trip as newly engaged sweethearts.
What they said they love about each other, “I love his adventurousness and sensitivity, He loves that I am sweet and a genuine, good listener.” Being around these two it was as though they had known each other their whole life. They met while teaching at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, UT, but the connection between the two was strong and beautiful.
When Lindsay showed up in her dress I felt like a little girl at Christmas. The detail, the flowy-ness, the elegant, beauty that she exuded I knew was not only going to knock Nate’s socks off, but I knew it was going to be gorgeous to photograph. Not everyone looks this good in a long sleeve dress but Lindsay pulled it off!
When Nate and Lindsay exited the temple you could just feel the love and support being sent their way from their family and friends. We had so much fun snapping photos through family and wedding party photos and then we finished up at the temple with some extra couple photos we didn’t quite get at the First Look Bridals session before the wedding day. We then went to their luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building which was ornately decorated and a warm welcoming from the cold outside.
Their reception at Noahs Event Center in South Jordan UT was fun and beautiful. They had a great December theme to their wedding and knew how to make every guest feel loved and appreciated!
I am so grateful that I was able to witness and photograph Lindsay and Nates marriage beginning! They remain friends and I send them love and happiness!
