Jasmin and Joachim are two of the most authentic and genuine people I have ever met. They are so comfortable in their own skin and just together as a couple. It helps that when I met them they had known each other for 9 years.
They met in a political science class and started building their friendship through email and FB messenger. Their friendship grew into more, 7 years later they moved to Utah from California (great choice in my opinion 😉 ) and 1 year after that they got married civilly in a courthouse. They missed their friends and wanted to finance a big beautiful celebration so 1 year after their courthouse wedding they had the full wedding experience!
When I met with them I was instantly so excited to be their wedding photographer! They knew what they wanted, they had specific questions for me and I could tell them would trust me. It was going to be amazing! I also felt so inspired by their desire to really celebrate and say thank you to all their family and friends.
Their wedding day was gorgeous. When I saw Jasmin in her wedding dress with her flowers I myself was speechless. Watching Joachim’s face when he saw his bride brought tears to my eyes. Knowing that his love for Jasmin was after a year that they were technically already married touched me so much.
I loved so many of their details. Jasmin’s bouquet was stunning and had a perfect touch of succulents. They even gave mini succulents as their wedding favors which I can’t deny was one of my favorite things to photograph! Their wedding cake topper was absolutely adorable and so beautiful. They built a brilliant chuppah which you will see is wonderful. Detail after detail made their day so personalized and beautiful and special for their guests!
They’re family and friends surrounded these two and you could feel the love they had for them. Just look through these photos and see how beautiful their day was!
