I remember meeting Blake and Tim very briefly at a wedding show in January and thinking, those two are gorgeous! I want to photograph their wedding! Later I found out it was Blakes’s mom that really pushed for them to hire me and lucky for me THEY DID.
The best way I can sum up Blake and Tim’s wedding day is, A day filled to the brim with fun and never-ending love. You might think I am speaking about Blake and Tim’s love, and they do have a beautiful love but it was also the family and friends surrounding them. Everyone was so supportive, genuinely happy and excited for these two. Tim’s little girl and boy were royalty and hey ate the attention all up! Seeing the love they had for Blake was such a gift to me.
I wasn’t entirely prepared when they began their ceremony for the coolest entrance of their wedding party. Every single person got their groove on as they walked to where Blake and Tim would say their I Do’s. Their very close friend Jeff officiated the wedding and not only was he sentimental and sweet but he had everyone laughing multiple times. It was for sure one of my favorite ceremonies.
As you will see, Blake and Tim were all smiles on their wedding day. It was such fun to take photographs of them because they were always smiling, laughing or posing for my camera.
They had a surprise for everyone to see when they cut their cake as well. It was a colorfully fun surprise. đŸ™‚
As I was leaving the wedding I noticed their family was loading a bunch of food onto a truck and I stopped to ask what this was all about. I was then told that Blake and Tim didn’t want anyone to bring them gifts for their wedding, they instead asked their guests to bring canned and packaged food for the Utah Food Bank. It was such a perfect way to wrap up their day. The two of them really are so caring and just want to give to others as best they can.
I felt truly grateful that I got to photograph this amazing day for Blake and Tim. I was honored to meet their friends and family and witness the way they all live life to the fullest and loyally support each other! Thank you, Blake and Tim!
