For the last 2.5 months I have had the incredible opportunity to work with AK Studio & Design as their summer Intern! I can’t even tell you how much I have learned and the sweet, wonderful people I have met during this time! I have seen first hand a successful business and photography team! I have enjoyed working with other passionate photographers who put their families first and will always love being a mom first and foremost.
David & Carmella are a gorgeous couple that booked Kira through AK Studio & Design for their wedding and they were never disappointed! Their bridals shoot started out a bit … well wet and windy. We got to Jordan Pines and the sky turned gray and rain drops started falling. At one point we all had to jump into our cars to avoid getting drenched. We were all a little nervous we would have to reschedule and re-do all the preparation for the shoot. BUT luckily the clouds parted a little and the rain stopped for just the amount of time we needed to capture the sweetness and beauty between these two love birds!
Watching Kira work was so educational! She was so calm, methodical and confident! It was so fun to support her and second shoot for her! I loved watching her create the vision in her head of what she wanted. Because of her confidence and peace, David & Carmella trusted her every word!
These shots were posed mostly by Kira and then I captured the in between moments and each pose from a different angle. I am so grateful for the opportunities I have to learn, grow and connect with genuinely great people! Now just enjoy the gorgeousness of Davis & Carmella!
