Charlene’s bridals turned out so amazing! I already knew that Charlene was just as gorgeous as can be and oh-so-photogenic after her and Tyler’s engagement session at Memory Grove park, but man she really knocked these portraits out of the park! I’m sure you remember their sweet pup Rugger who stole the show at their engagements! We didn’t get a visit from Rugger this time, but I was crossing my fingers we would at the wedding!
Sometimes couples choose to have a “First Look” session together before their wedding day. This allows us to have a more relaxed time frame for photos on their actual wedding day, since we have already captured portraits of just the two of them. But in Charlene’s case, she chose to save Tyler seeing her dress for the first time for the actual wedding day!! It was so fun to capture some “traditional” bridals of JUST my bride!
For Charlene’s bridals, we started at the Chantilly Mansion in Layton, which is where their wedding and reception will take place. Seeing Charlene all dressed up and beautiful inside the mansion made me so excited for Tyler to see her on their wedding day! From the draping beading on the back of her dress, to the silver sequined heels, her delicate brooch in her hair, and even the touch of blush in her bouquet, everything was so stunning and perfect. The lucky thing about Charlene is she can pull off any look – the sexy, serious smolder AND the wide grin full of laughter. She looks beautiful no matter what.
Even though it was early March in Utah, Charlene was still brave enough to take some portraits outside at the Salt Lake Capitol Building. We were welcomed with the most perfectly warm, glowy sunset cascading over the building. It was the perfect ending to an even more perfect session!
