Jordan Pines | Engagements | Maddie and Dallin

I met Maddie and Dallin at a Bridal Show. Although I was a little bummed to learn that she already had her wedding photographer booked, we hit it off so well that we decided we still had to work together – at least once! So just a mere five days later her and Dallin met me up at Jordan Pines for this adorable, snowy session you are about to fall in love with. There’s nothing wrong with wanting even MORE photos when you’re engaged and as cute as these two, right?

It is obvious to everyone that Dallin is crazy for Maddie. He went along with all my cheesy poses and requests….with one caveat. He made me promise I would let him throw Maddie in the snow at the end of the session. You’ll have to scroll all the way through these to see if she let him! (Just know that the ones at the end turned out to be some of my favorite shots from the whole session 😉 )

Jordan Pines is one of my favorite mountainy spots. It’s easy to get to, there are different views no matter which way you look, pine trees galore, and look at all this beautiful snow. Sometimes you just never know what you are going to get for weather when you book a session in the winter, but this day couldn’t have been any more perfect for us! I LOVED Maddie’s pop of red. She perfectly pulls of this bold look, and it’s just the right contrast against the white of the snow and Dallin’s more subdued jacket. I learned that Maddie is actually Miss Sandy 1st attendant 2018. Which actually doesn’t surprise me at all considering just how poised, sweet, and amazing she is!! While I was disappointed to not be photographing their wedding, I felt lucky for the chance to photograph them at all. This Save the Date session has my heart! These two are simply perfect together and I couldn’t be happier for them!
